Got my TBI unit back from Jet Performance. Looks like brand new. Still waiting for my engine block and flywheel to be finished.
November 5 - 14
Finally after a two week wait I got my heads and block back after having it tanked, bored .030" over and honed. I found out this was just the beginning to a whole chain of events that would happen.
I short blocked it that Friday night after the block was decked .015"
Here is a view of the right side with the new flat top pistons that are .030" oversized.
Here is a view of the left side. These are Federal Mogul forged lightweight aluminum piston.
This is just after the cam was advanced 8 degrees and the timing cover put on.

Here is a shot with the new valves in. The heads were also decked .010"

Here she is all RED. I'm not completely sold on the color yet.
Now I need to clean the engine bay up a little.
