My 1994 GMC SONOMA
A lot of this site will be under construction for awhile. I will update with more pictures when I can!
This is my 1994 Sonoma SLS pickup. I custom ordered it from Circle oldsmobile/GMC. The sticker specs are at the bottom. Click HERE
In March of 1999 I start mulling around the idea of modifying my GMC Sonoma to improve its power. It was almost 5 years old with 80,000+ miles on it and I could tell the old 4.3L was getting a little tired. I began to investigate what could be done to improve the performance of my truck. I started reading allot of articles about S10/S15 V8 swap. After careless thinking I figured that was the easy way out so I decided to see what could be done to the stock 4.3 Liter TBI.

The CPI version for that year was suppose to produce around 200HP. Mine was rated at 165HP. I figured 35HP shouldn't be that hard to get out of it and maybe if I'm lucky, I might be able to squeeze 50 to 75HP more. It is just a 350 c.i. with two less cylinders, right? How HARD could it be!?

In October at 89,457 miles I finally found out!
